PSALM 95:2, 6-8 (NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION)
2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving,
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
6 Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel
before the LORD our Maker.
7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His
pasture and the sheep of His hand today, if you
would hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts.
Our Worship Arts Team is composed of musicians, actors, sound techs, visual techs, writers, directors, set-builders, clowns, puppeteers, storytellers, dancers, and artists who create things with their hands. We welcome like- minded people to come and be a part of our teams.
Our purpose is to use our gifts to lead others into worship as we gather as the flock called 2nd Street.
We meet together as teams to encourage one another as followers of Jesus Christ to become more like Him by loving God, loving people and serving our world.
We travel through our journey together, becoming more skillful as
we practice our arts, more aware of how God would have us use
our talents as we seek His will through prayer and reading God's
Word, and more connected as we share our lives with one another.
Worship is one place where we have a great opportunity to be changed by God. That is where our hardened hearts can be transformed into soft clay by His warm hands.
ISAIAH 64:8 (NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE)
8 But now, O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay,
and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand.
