Children

We value children as full members of our church family. During our worship gatherings, children are invited to stay and participate with their families. During the music, children are invited to stand, sing, sit, observe, or dance near their parents. During the sermon we invite children to a hands-on learning opportunity that's connected to the sermon scripture.

Please talk with Janelle Garman, our children's pastor, if you have any questions or need any assistance.

Safety and Security

It is essential that we maintain a safe community for our children and youth. Our child abuse prevention policy is the cornerstone of this commitment.

If you are interested in volunteering with our children or youth and have been attending 2nd Street consistently for a minimum of 6 months, please contact Janelle Garman or Austin Way for further information.

Worship Experience Groups (W.E. Groups)

Our W.E. groups meet together for relational community and spiritual formation Sundays from 9:30-10:15am.

From a grand-parenting group to introductory Greek, a ukulele group to a group that's processing the sermon series together, there's something for you.

And if not, you can start a new group!

See our events page for W.E. group details.

Worship Team

The worship team is an integral part of our services. Each week, we have individuals or groups of people lead the congregation in worship in the way the Holy Spirit leads (i.e., music, art, drama, prayer, writing, etc.). If you're interested in participating in worship or have ideas, comments, and/or suggestions, fill out this form or contact Edie!
